Directions and Key Collection Arrangements:

Exit the M6 at Junction 40 and follow the A66 to Keswick.

On arriving in Keswick turn right at the first junction and follow this road down towards the Town Centre. Just before the pedestrian crossing (traffic lights) turn left and then IMMEDIATELY left again onto Southey Street. Then take the first left onto Shorley Lane where you will find the ‘Spar Shop’. You can collect your key from here anytime after 3.00 p.m. The Spar Shop is open until 10.00 p.m. seven days a week.

After collecting the key follow the lane around and turn right at the junction onto Blencathra Street. At the next junction turn left back onto Southey Street and then take the first right onto Church Street. At the top of Church Street turn right onto St. John Street then take the second left onto Derwent Street. At the bottom of this street turn left onto the Borrowdale Road which leads to a mini roundabout where you can follow the signposts for Borrowdale.

After approximately 8 miles you will arrive in SEATOLLER. Pass the Yew Tree Restaurant on your left and continue until you come to a narrow bridge on your left. Cross the bridge onto Top Row. Rattlebeck Cottage is the second cottage along (it has a porch).

Parking is available at this end of the Top Row.

On your departure please post the key through Rattlebeck Cottage letterbox. Please note that departure time is 9.45 a.m.
